Iām a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in expanding my existing talents and learning new skills along the way. Through a mix of online sources, books and articles by experts in the field, I learned how to programme. Joining General Assembly was the logical next step in my development as a programmer. The Software Engineering course was beneficial as it was immersive and showed me my strengths as well as the gaps in my knowledge. I have a new understanding of, and appreciation for, the art of programming. As a result of the course, I can sketch out, rewrite, and restructure code in a clear and understandable way. This is my greatest strength as a programmer. Now, I look to progress my career as a Junior Software Engineer.
12-week immersive course consisted of lectures, daily standups, labs, working individually and in groups and providing daily homework. At the end of the course, I completed four projects (shown below). Topics covered were fundamentals of Web Development with semantic HTML, creating my own API and pairing it with the front-end.
The project aimed to fix 3D models using a variety of 3D applications (Zbrush, PhotoShop, Maya, Remesher). I was given daily sculptures to fix, which all had to be approved by senior sculptors before submission.
My main duties involved running my clinic under direct supervision from the consultant. I supported the Neuro-Ophthalmology staff with excellent patient care and technical services.
Undergraduate Major Project - Hyper-Realistic 3D Character modelled, textured, and rendered with Zbrush sculpting, realistic texture mapping, subsurface scattering, lighting and rendering.

I enjoy Art and Design, visiting art galleries and improving my artistic techniques in my spare time. I find myself taking on projects frequently, which involve 3D modelling. I greatly understand human anatomy and have taken several courses on the topic.
I have done freelance work as a Digital sculptor, and my interest in human anatomy has helped me in my previous role as a medical photographer.
I also enjoy socialising and attending the cinema with friends and family. I am a lover of horror movies and prefer classic horror movies to low-budget horror movies. I find practical effects very interesting.
